All puppies adopted with a spay/neuter contract (No Breeding Rights) and 2 year health guarantee. AKC papers will be completed and sent by breeder, along with a 3 generation pedigree, and will be included in adoption price. Our price for adoption varies based on size, conformation, and color. The range is $1200 -$3000. A $400 deposit is required after your approval for adoption is given and is non-refundable, but can be used towards a future litter. We require the total adoption fee be paid by 8 weeks of puppy's age and we are currently not shipping any puppies. If arrangements can be made for an in cabin, or direct non-stop cargo flight, we will consider air travel. Air travel is paid by puppy buyer. Or we will meet you within two hours drive from our home. No puppy will leave our home until we feel it is ready, which is normally around 10-12 weeks of age.
Our adoption questionaire will be emailed to potential adoptee for completion along with several telephone interviews. We also require pictures or video of your home prior to granting an adoption along with references, and you must sign our adoption contract. NO EXCEPTIONS. Breeder has the right to refuse any adoption request at breeder discretion.
Please make sure the Imperial Shih Tzu dog is for you as they are not dogs that fit everyones lifestyle. The Shih Tzu is a high maintenance dog that requires alot of grooming to maintain and keep the double coat nice and mat free. They do not require alot of physical exercise, and just love to be near people and sit on your lap. They tend to be stubborn and difficult to train. A well socialized Shih Tzu is a wonderful dog with an outgoing personality. We encourage everyone to make sure you are totally committed to adding the Shih Tzu to your family, do plenty of research. A good tool to help you decide which dog fits your family is to google "the right dog for you" and take the quiz offered by different sites.
